Artist Statement

Color brings me joy.

Nature brings me inspiration. 

Creating art from recycled silk ties, pieces of nature and my beloved sewing machine feeds my soul. 

I began creating a process to turn my photography into art about 15 years ago.  Though the process continually changes, the steady and most important aspect is prayer.  I pray for its’ recipient as I work, which adds a personal and spiritual importance to each piece I create.

I spend hours gaining academics before beginning a piece.  I feel nature deserves as much.  

 I am always honored when a home beholds a piece of my art and prayer.
